Afternoon Re:Treat ~ A moment of calm

After the success of previous retreat days, but knowing that this time of year can be so busy for so many, I am pleased to be able to offer a 'mini retreat' half day at The Lodge so that you can step into December feeling calm, with a steady purpose and with your battery charged up to carry you through the festivities. Timing of the Day will be 1 - 4.30pm The date is Sunday 23rd November. Venue is The Lodge, Hitchin. * Opening circle and meditation to begin * Movement based yoga practice - a more dynamic flow to warm the body and to create a sense of stillness in the mind as if taking a moving meditation * Slowly moving towards stillness, so that long held tensions can begin to gently fall away. * Pranayama (Breathworks) will close this part of our afternoon * We pause for rose tea and sweet treats, and chance to share or to journal around the experience of the session * Finally, getting cosy and laying down for a guided yoga nidra (in modern practices often referred to as Non Sleep Deprived Rest) * We close in our circle, setting an intention to remember this feeling so that when we are dragged away from our peaceful centre, we know where we are returning to Investment is just £45, and as we are limited to 8 spaces please book early to secure your space.
